James Leroy Alston, age 62 of Bismarck passed away Wednesday December 25, 2024 at his home. He was born December 16, 1962 on Los Angeles, California the son of Kent Leroy and Mary Elizabeth "Betty" Britt Alston. He was a carpenter by trade and enjoyed adventures and was a free-spirited man.

Survivors are his son Genesis Alston and wife Jennifer of San Jacinto, California, brother Mark Alston of Rancho Cucamonga, California and sister, Rita Alston of Cedar City, Utah, and three grandchildren, Matthew Alston, Noah Alston, and Levi Alston.
