James Cecil Bailey Jr. (Jimbo) age 70 of Malvern passed away Monday October 24, 2022, at UAMS. He was born July 22, 1952, in Monahans, Texas the son of James Cecil Sr. and Colleen Baker Bailey. He was a graduate of Malvern High School Class of 1970, worked for Food Center, but most recently Conway Freight for nineteen years. For many years, he attended South Main Missionary Baptist Church, and was a member of Sand Hill Hunting Club. Jimbo loved to hunt, fish, was a treasure collector (antiques or junk), and he always found something special.

He was preceded in death by his parents, father and mother-in-law, Charles and Geraldine Francis, and brother-in-law Ray Francis.

Survivors are his wife of 48+years, Pam Bailey, sons: Neil Bailey (Kristee) of Spring Hill, TN., Cole Bailey of Malvern, and Kyle Bailey (Angelia) of Benton; brother: Bill Bailey of Malvern; sisters: Caye Glidewell (Van) of Hot Springs, Debbie Paul of Malvern, Donna Kelly (Mike) of Glen Rose, and Nita Wallace of Story; Grandchildren: Cooper, Parker, Spencer, and Chandler Bailey of Spring Hill, TN, Landen and Brooklynn Bailey of Malvern: Sisters-in-law: Pat Hutcheson and Rhonda Francis both of Malvern; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Thursday, October 27, from 6pm until 8pm at Regency.

Funeral services will be Friday, October 28, at 10am in the Regency Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Van Glidewell and Brother Seth Glidewell officiating. Burial will follow in Lono Cemetery.

Pallbearers are Mike Kelly, Steve Paul, B.J. Paul, Blake Riggan, Asa Chapman, and Daniel Kizziar.

Honorary pallbearer is Rick Darrow.
