James Marvin (Jim) Gordon, age 86, of Malvern, AR, passed away on January 7, 2025, in his home. He was born on March 25, 1938 in Springhill, LA, the son of Joseph Allen (Doc) and Elva Penington Gordon. He worked at Reynolds Cable Plant for many years as a fork lift operator. Jim was a member of Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church where he was also a member of the Adult One Sunday School Class. He was also a member of the Arkansas Army National Guard and was a past master of the Rockport Masonic Lodge #58. Jim enjoyed yard work, spending time with his grandkids, was a part of the McDonalds "Coffee Club" and was known as "Mr. Clean" at work.

Jim is preceded in death by his parents; sister, Betty Gillespie; and brother, Wayne Gordon.

Left to cherish his memory, loving wife of 52 years, Lib Draper Gordon of Malvern; daughter, Stacy Clayton (Mike) of Malvern; sister, Leola Heath of Malvern; grandsons, Pake Clayton of Malvern and Lane Clayton (Baylie) of Malvern; great- grandchild, Georgia Ann Clayton; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 9th, from 10-11am at Regency Funeral Home, with the funeral service starting at 11am, with Bro. Ron Ballard and Mike Clayton officiating. Burial to follow at Shadowlawn Cemetery.

Pallbearers are Mike Clayton, Lane Clayton, Pake Clayton, Alan Parker, Brian Coston, David Hohrine, and Bruce Wingo.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Mt. Zion Ladies Auxiliary.
