Janet Lingo Childers, age 65, of Magnet Cove, passed away on Monday, July 21, 2025. She was born on January 1, 1960 in Malvern, AR, the daughter of J.D. and Annetta Hughes Lingo. She worked as an owner and operator, with her husband, at Childers Home and Elite Development. She was a member of Reyburn Creek Missionary Baptist Church. Janet enjoyed spending time with her family, crafting, going to car shows and trade shows.

Janet is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Steve Childers; and sister, Bonita Jean Martin.

Left to cherish her memory, son, Drew Childers (Haydn) of Hot Springs; daughters, Krista Childers and Kara Childers of Magnet Cove; sister in-law, Teri Childers Crofford (Lawerence) of Alexander; brother in-law, Marty Martin of Magnet Cove; nieces, Brittany Wood (Zack) and Tonya Dunlap (Vince) of St. Louis Missouri; nephew, Chad Martin (Mollie) of Magnet Cove; and numerous great nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be on Thursday, July 24th from 6-8pm at Regency Funeral Home.

The funeral service will be on Friday, July 25th at 10am, at Regency Funeral Home with Bro. Todd Bray officiating. Burial to follow at Lono Cemetery.

Pallbearers are Taylor Bray, Damon Dyer, Kevin Hathcock, Shawn Welchman, Joe Efird, and Patrick    Dailey.

Honorary Pallbearers will be the Magnet Cove Volunteer Fire Department and AR State Police – Troop K.
