Janet Talley Rutledge, age 76, of Malvern, AR, passed away on January 7, 2024, at Encore. She was born on February 15, 1947, in Malvern, AR, the daughter of Hurshel "Pete" and Bess Carter Talley. Janet was a member of Liberty Chapel Church in Malvern. She enjoyed volunteering at the Libby's R.O.S.E. Thrift Store and at the Malvern Senior Adult Center.

Janet is preceded in death by her parents.

Left to cherish her memory, loving husband of 54 years, Raymond Rutledge; daughters, Jan Long (Mike) of Malvern, and Betsy Launius (Chad) of Glen Rose; brothers, Dan Talley (Ann) of Malvern and Lynn Talley (Freda) of Glen Rose; grandchildren, Mikayla Long, Wesley Launius, Olivia Launius, Noah Long, and Jaxson Long; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday Jan. 9th from 5-7pm at Regency Funeral Home.

Funeral Services will be on Wednesday, Jan 10th at 11am, at Regency Funeral Home Chapel, with Bro Jerry Garrett officiating.

Burial to follow at Rest Haven Memorial Garden Cemetery in Malvern, AR.

Pallbearers will be Mike Long, Chad Launius, Wesley Launius, Noah Long, Jaxson Long, and Landon Jackson.

The family would like to give special thanks to the Encore nurses, staff, and the CNA's.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Malvern Senior Adult Center (1800 W. Moline St. Malvern, AR 72104).
