Janis Ethridge Johnson, age 70, of Malvern, passed away on Tuesday, September 9, 2025 in her home. She was born on December 19, 1954 in Malvern, the daughter of Herman and Ruby Clifton Ethridge.  Janis was a dedicated member of Sardis Primitive Baptist Church. She worked as a legal secretary for many years. Janis loved to play bluegrass music, sewing, gardening and bird watching.

Janis is preceded in death by her parents; brother, Tony E.; and grandson, Brandon Pettit.

Left to cherish her memory, loving husband of 28 years, Paul Johnson; children, Chris Graham (Clare) of Malvern, Erin Beason of Antioch, and Sarah Jacobs (Aaron) of Prattsville; stepchildren, Danny Johnson (Sarah) of Malvern, Penny Farnsworth (Steve Begley) of Fort Smith and Michael Johnson (Erica) of Benton; sister, Debbie Scott (Otis) of Texarkana, TX; grandchildren, Colton Graham, Kayla Graham, Cameron Graham, Anna Flournoy, Andrew Flournoy, Tiffany Johnson, Dakota Johnson, Cory Johnson, Koltyn Johnson, Amber Johnson, Stevie Pflumb, Blakely Begley and Zak Farnsworth; 8 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Friday, September 12th from 10-11am at Regency Funeral Home with the funeral service starting at 11am, with Elders Jess Stripland and Dan Samons officiating. Burial to follow at Roundhill Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Aaron Jacobs, Andrew Flournoy, Chris Graham, Cameron Graham, Danny Johnson, and Koltyn Johnson.
