Jason (J.T.) Tanner, age 43, went to be with the Lord on April 16, 2026.  He was born in Malvern, AR on March 6, 1983.  He spent his life working as a tow operator and was co-owner of Tanner Towing and Recovery.  He enjoyed being outdoors, hunting turkeys, fishing, and spending time with his family. He was a member of the Star Hunting Club, the Malvern Airport Commission, as well as the Foundation for Responsible Towing.  J.T. was often seen helping his family and friends whenever he could.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Ann Tanner; brother, Jimmy Tanner; grandparents, Rayborn and Jewell Tanner and Betty Greenly; and beloved aunt, Kaye Woodall.

He is survived by his wife, Crystal; daughter, Jaycie; son, Avery; father, John Tanner and wife Susan of Malvern; brother, Johnathan Tanner and wife Lita of Rockville, MD; sister, Jacki McDaniel and husband Scott of Hot Springs; step brothers, Carson Kindy and wife Lynn of Georgia and Parker Kindy and wife Shelby of Russellville; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins who will miss him dearly.

Visitation will be Sunday, April 19, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM, at Regency Funeral Home.

Funeral Service will be Monday, April 20, at 2:00 PM, at Regency Funeral Home, with Bro. Aaron Polk officiating. Burial will follow at Rockport Cemetery.

Pallbearers are Luke Paine, Micheal McLelland, Bobby (B.J.) Ross, Carroll Fenimore, Thomas Worthington, and Mike (Ben) Smith.

Honorary Pallbearers are Tom Harold Williams, "Wormy" Latture, Dennis Nix, Dr. Bruce Burton, and James Jackson.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Arkansas School for the Blind.
