Jeanette Louise Crites, age 84, of Malvern, AR, passed away surrounded by her family on Wednesday, December 18, 2024.
Jeanette was born in Malvern, AR, and was raised in several cities across the U.S. with her military father and mother. She resided in Malvern all of her adult life where she assisted in many children's learning at Glen Rose School. Jeanette was an active member at First Assembly of God in Malvern. She touched several lives, and was known by Granny to many kids in the community. Jeanette will be missed dearly and her legacy will be carried out by her surviving family.
Jeanette is preceded in death by her parents, V.L. and Emma Cunningham Myers; husband, Edward Crites; son in law, Tracy Estes; her beloved cousin, Betty Rowe-Abbott; and several other close family and friends.
Left to cherish her memory, daughter, Renee Nugent-Estes of Malvern; son, Major William Crites USMC (Sophia) of Van Buren; granddaughters, Candice Estes-Floyd (Ken) of Benton, Chelsea Estes-Speed (Anthony) of Malvern, and Jo Crites of Van Buren; grandson, Peter Crites of Van Buren; great-grandchildren, Ashley Floyd-Watson (Chance), Justin Floyd, Veronica Floyd-Pike (Gavin), Bryson Floyd (Lexi), Connor Floyd, Stetson Nutt, Easton Nutt, Bronson Nutt, Emma Floyd, and Brixton Speed; great-great grandsons, Ryker and Riggs Watson, Liam Floyd, Landon and Emerson Pike; and bonus daughter, Tammy Williams-Walker of London, England.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 21st at 10am at First Assembly of God Church in Malvern, with the funeral service starting at 11am, with Bro. Jimmy Bobo and Bro. Matt Crutchfield officiating. Burial to follow at Francois Cemetery.
Pallbearers are Justin Floyd, Bryson Floyd, Connor Floyd, Stetson Nutt, Easton Nutt, Bronson Nutt, and Peter Crites.
Honorary Pallbearers are Emma Floyd, Jo Crites and Brixton Speed.
The family would like to give special thanks to Hospice Home Care.
