Jerry Gaither, 52, of Traskwood spirit flew into the loving arms of Jesus on Wednesday, October 13, 2021.  He left unexpectedly but was received by our merciful Lord with his beautiful bride of 15 years holding his hand at bedside.  His legacy is his best friend and bride, Rhonda Gaither, who were joined together on July 17, 2006. They raised five amazing children in the ways of the Lord, Travis Alan Tucker, Jr. "T.J", Dustin Lee Tucker, Allie Mecenzie Tucker, Seth Donovan Gaither and Morgan Alexander Gaither "Xander".  Jerry had one treasured grandbaby, Jared Kadyn Axsher Tucker, who was loved so much by his "Paw Paw".  Jerry was an avid music fan. He loved his God and family above all and showed them the way to live life with joy and happiness.  Jerry also has a brother, Gary D. Gaither from Cabot, AR and an honorary brother, Ernest Justice.

Jerry served in the United States Army.  He loved writing and wrote several books and was published in some anthologies, as well.  During his work career, he was a CNA and also drove a school bus.  Jerry loved children and was active in the church with driving the van and teaching children's church, during his time at Church of the Burning Heart.  Jerry is currently a member at Family Church of Bryant.  He is preceded in death by his cherished mama, Patsy Darlene Gaither and father, who passed when Jerry was very young, Hulen D. Gaither and his honorary sister-in-law, Cyndi Justice

Visitation will be held on Monday, October 18 from 6:00-8:00pm at Regency Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, October 19 at 3:00pm at Poyen Assembly of God with Brother Jason Keisler and Reverend Ray Ulery. Burial will follow at Francois Cemetery.  Pallbearers will be Travis Alan Tucker, (T.J.), Seth Donovan Gaither, Morgan Alexander Gaither, William Alexander Justice, Jamie Miles Hoofman and Edward Skipper Thurman.  Honorary pallbearers will be Jared Kadyn Axsher Tucker, Earnest V. Justice, Gary D. Gaither, Steve Roberts, Jamie Freeman and Jordan Edward Thurman.
