Jerry Herrington, age 70, of Butterfield, AR, passed away peacefully, in the evening of Sunday, January 19, 2025. He was born on April 29, 1954 in Douglas, GA, the son of Cleveland Pringle and Wanell Caren Herrington. Jerry was a U.S. Navy Veteran and had served during the Vietnam War.  He was an electrician at Acme Brick for many years and then retired from Encore as the Maintenance Manager. He enjoyed gardening and doing yardwork, working on his '55 Chevy, and the most important thing to him, was spending time with his family. Jerry was also a deacon and member of South Main Missionary Baptist Church.

Jerry is preceded in death by his parents, a brother and two sisters.

Left to cherish his memory, loving wife of 47 years, Theresa Crumbaker Herrington; daughter Jennifer Crutchfield (Alan) of Malvern; son, Michael Herrington of Malvern; grandson, Blaze Crutchfield; brother, Johnny Herrington (Betty) of Hazelhurst, GA; sister in-law, Janet Boyles (Jerry) of Malvern; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, Jan. 22nd from 6-8pm at Regency Funeral Home.

The Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, Jan 23rd at 10am, at Regency Funeral Home, with Bro. Bart Herrington and Will Wallace officiating.  Burial to follow at Francois Cemetery.

Pallbearers are Jerry Boyles, Steve Kirk, Danny Waite, Josiah Burns, Lance Howell, and Shawn Selph.

Honorary Pallbearers will be the members of the Adult Men's Sunday School Class from South Main Missionary Baptist Church.
