Jerry Don Jacobs, age 83, of Friendship, passed away on Saturday, June 7, 2025 in his home. He was born on January 14, 1942 in Nashville, AR, the son of Jerald and Christine Henderson Jacobs. Jerry served in the U.S. Marine Corps and went to work for Reynolds Cable Plant for many years. He attended Damascus Missionary Baptist Church. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, spending time with his grandkids and visiting with his close friend Mike Burnett. He also enjoyed spending time with his Boston Terrier, Lucy.

Jerry is preceded in death by his parents; first wife of 25 years, Barbara Babb Jacobs and second wife of 27 years, Etheree Nix Jacobs; brothers, Tommy Jacobs, and Father David Jacobs; brother in-law, Bobby Babb, Houston Hathcock, and J.C. Nix.

Left to cherish his memory, daughters, Jennifer Boyett (Danny), Gina Whited (Marty), and Lana Blankenship (Phil); sister, Sandra Jacobs Straczek; grandchildren, Taylor Boyett, Hudson Boyett, Grace Gilbert, Colton Cook, Paige Cook, Tobin Boyett, Ivy Branum, Kayln Howell, Ashley Holloway, Makenzie Davis and Jacob Whited; great-grandchild, Kinley Mitchell; brother in-law, Harlod Nix; sisters in-law, Lovie Hathcock and Harriet Babb; and several nieces and nephews, including his special nephew Buddy Babb.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 12th, from 1-2pm, with the funeral service starting at 2pm at Regency Funeral Home, with Bro. Rickey Poyner officiating. Burial to follow at Rest Haven Cemetery.

Pallbearers are Tobin Boyett, Danny Boyett, Buddy Babb, Jason Allmon, Marty Whited, and Brent Whitley. Honorary Pallbearers are Mike Burnett, Phil Blankenship and Harold Nix.
