Jerry Don Whitley, 80, of Malvern passed away on Saturday, November 26, 2022 at his home.  He was born January 23, 1942, in Bismarck, the son of the late Donald Monroe and Leola Ruth Hardin Whitley.  Jerry served in the National Guard as a sharpshooter. Jerry was a barber and worked at Reynolds Cable Plant.  He was a member of Reyburn Creek Missionary Baptist Church and the Brumbelow Creek Hunting Club.  He enjoyed bird hunting, fishing, golfing and loved reading Louie Lamour books.  Other than his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth Ann Clift Whitley and brother, Ronnie Whitley.

Survivors, son, Brent Whitley (Michelle) of Malvern; daughters, Leann Whitley of Benton and Karen Walters (Blake) of Glen Rose; brother, Rick Whitley (Sharon) of Greenbrier; sister-in-law, Dixie Whitley of Central, grandchildren, Travis Trammel, Thomas Trammel, Jonathan Trammel, Dusty Walters, Witt Walters, Hayden Whitley, Hunter McCullough and Emery Whitley and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, November 29 from 6:00-8:00pm at Reyburn Creek Missionary Baptist Church.

Services will be Wednesday, November 30 at 2:00pm at Reyburn Creek Missionary Baptist Church, 2382 Reyburn Creek Road, in Malvern, with Brother Todd Bray and Brother Mark Thornton officiating.  Burial will follow at Hickory Grove Cemetery. Pallbearers will be his grandsons and granddaughter.  Honorary pallbearers will be Kevin Whitley, Kyle Whitley, Matt Whitley, Eugene Clift, Scotty Clift, Jimmy Clift, Mark Clift, Joey Perry, Johnny Clift, Ricky Clift and David Clift.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Hickory Grove Cemetery Association, 1104 Old Military Road, Arkadelphia, AR 71923.
