Jimmy D. "Big Shorty" McCauley, Sr., 73, of Malvern passed away on Saturday, March 4, 2023 at National Park Medical Center.  He was born June 3, 1949, in Malvern, the son of the late Clifton and Alma Jean Ellis McCauley.  He worked for Clift Trucking for 48 years.  Jimmy was a follower of Jesus Christ.  He loved fishing, hunting, and spending time with his family.  Other than his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister, Sandra Lockett; son, Christopher Paul McCauley and many other family members and loved ones.

Survivors, sons, Jimmy McCauley, Jr. (Darlene) of Malvern, John McCauley (Christy) of Malvern, Curtis McCauley (Carmen) of Malvern and Clifford James McCauley of Malvern; daughter, Sylvia Johnston (Robert) of Plainview, Arkansas; brothers, Johnny McCauley of Louisiana and Robert McCauley (Gigi) of Malvern; sisters, Charlotte Wallace of Malvern, Cindy Whitlock of Malvern, Debbie Bradley of Hot Springs and Jackie Adams of Malvern; twenty-two grandchildren, thirty-four great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held Friday, March 10 at 2:00pm at Regency Funeral Home with Brother David Lengfield officiating.
