Jo Ella Efird, age 87, of Hot Springs, passed away on Thursday, August 15, 2024. She was born on June 13, 1937 in Hot Springs, AR, the daughter of Joe and Elsie Thornton Montgomery. Jo Ella was a secretary for many years until she retired. She was also a charter member of the First Southern Baptist Church in Magnet Cove.

Jo Ella is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Lester Efird; and brother, Royce Montgomery.

Left to cherish her memory, daughter, Tina Conzel (Tommy) of Nashville, AR; sons, Mark Efird (Tara) of Alexander, and Byron Efird (Cendy) of Diamondhead; brother, Doyce Montgomery; grandchildren, Aaron Efird, Brent Efird, Joseph Efird, Zechariah Efird, Courtney Grant, Alison Craun and Bri Avery; 15 great-grandchildren; and 4 great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 18th from 6-8pm at the Regency Funeral Home Chapel.

Graveside services will be held on Monday, August 19th at 10 am, at Hickory Grove Cemetery, with Bro. Paul Herndon and Aaron Efird officiating.

Pallbearers are Aaron Efird, Brent Efird, Joseph Efird, Zechariah Efird, Matthew Grant, and Casey Craun.

Honorary pallbearers are Randy Montgomery, Scott Montgomery, David Montgomery, and Jeff Joyce.
