John Milan White Sr., age 90 of Malvern passed away Friday September 13, 2024, surrounded by his family. He was born March 29, 1934, in Dallas County, the son of John Henry and Myrtle Whitley White. He was a Malvern High School graduate, co-captain of the football team, U.S. Army veteran, and retired from Reynolds Reduction after 30 years of service as an electrician.

John was a member of the Third Baptist Church, coached Malvern Little League and Sr. Babe Ruth, loved to deer hunt and was a member of the Tanyard Hunting Club, Malvern Gear Jammers, and was a 50-year member of Rockport Masonic Lodge #58. He loved to watch college football, especially the Razorbacks, and the Malvern Leopards, was a historian and amazing storyteller but his greatest love was having his family all together.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife of 66 years, Norma Dee (English) White, daughter, Susan Bayless, brother Bryan White.

Survivors are his children Johnny White of Hot Springs, Lisa Cunningham (husband Paul) of Malvern, sister, Mary Evelyn Neeper Lawrence (Homer) of Malvern, grandchildren, Jake White (Parker), Tara Mahend (Claude), Natalie White, Molly Clem (Tye), and Jessi Cunningham. Great Grandchildren, Carmen, Zeke, Kingston, John Henry, Mila, Myles, Evie and Savannah and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Monday September16, from 6:30PM until 8:00PM at Regency Funeral Home.

Funeral Services will be Tuesday September 17, at 2:00 PM in the Regency Funeral Home Chapel with Brothers Vance Nutt and Mark Thornton officiating. Burial will follow in Rockport Memorial Gardens Cemetery.

Pallbearers are Allen Pulley, James Kizziar, Clay Ledbetter, Kevin Whitley, Alan Parker, Will Smith, and Tommy Hall. Honorary pallbearers are Daryl Smith, Raymond O'Neal, Jimmy Carroll Jones, Wayne Neighbours, David Lewter, Steve Paul, Malvern Youth Sports members, and the Zodie Mitchell Baseball Teams Members.
