Johnnie Belle Martin, 98, of Malvern passed away on Wednesday, May 31, 2023.  She was born May 16, 1925, in Malvern, the daughter of the late W. Alfonzie "Fonz" and Mattie Davis Harper.  Johnnie graduated from Magnet Cove High School in 1943.  She was the treasurer for the Ladies Auxiliary, member of Second Baptist Church and the Stella Jones Sunday School Class.  She enjoyed gardening, watching sports and crocheting.  Other than her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Royce Martin; siblings, Lorene Guin, Lucille Kidder and Lawrence Harper and her grandson, Luke Martin.

Survivors, sons, Glen A. Martin (Donna) of Malvern and Terry W. Martin (Teresa) of Fayetteville; daughter, Charlotte A. Cox (Lewis) of Hot Springs; seven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren and a special friend, Brenda McDermott.

Services will be held Saturday, June 3 at 11:00am at Regency Funeral Home with Brother Terry Whitley and Brother Joey McDermott officiating.  Visitation will be held one hour prior to service.  Burial will follow at Oakridge Cemetery.  Pallbearers will be Samuel Martin, Jonathan Martin, Benjamin Cox, Kristopher Dunn, Richard Jones, Barron Jones and Kallen Dunn.  Honorary pallbearers will be Larry Guin, Richard Harper and Ronnie Harper.
