Obituary

Joycie "Sis" Williams Warman, age 88, of Hot Springs, passed away Tuesday, February 4, 2025, at her home. She was born August 10, 1936, in Bismarck, Arkansas the daughter of Carlas and Jessie Wood Williams. She was a beautician for over thirty years. After retiring, she was a cook at the Pines Nursing Home in Hot Springs. She enjoyed crocheting and gardening.

Joycie was preceded in death by her parents, husband, William "Bill" Warman; two daughters, Jeanetta "Netta" McIlwain and Waqueta "Skeeter" Skidmore; four brothers, Roy, Hiriam, Murry and Lee Williams, and grandson Robert Ford.

Survivors are one brother, Johnny Williams, four daughters, Marqueta Casey-Wehunt, Laquetta Van Cleave, Juanita and husband, Donald Doolin and Teresa Laliberte; a son-in-law, Donald J. and wife, Dixie McIlwain; nine grandchildren Cris Long, Tonya Ray, Jessica Pratt, Curtis and Paul Lott, and Larry and Jonathan Ford, Benji and Donavan McIlwain, seventeen great-grandchildren and numerous great-great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a favorite charity.

Family memorial service will be held at a later date.
