Judy Dian Ward, age 73, of Sheridan, AR, passed away on Sunday, December 8, 2024. She was born on January 19, 1951 in Kirby, AR, the daughter of John and Martha Anderson Walker. Dian was a member of First Landmark Missionary Baptist Church in Sheridan where she had taught Awana's. She completed her Master of Science in Education, plus 60 hours, and went on to work as a teacher for 35 years, retiring from Daisy Bates Elementary. Dian loved watching her grandkids play sports, going camping, bargain shopping, and loved the beach.

Dian is preceded in death by her parents, John and Martha Walker; and siblings, Wayne Walker and Jannavie Weiner; and Don Ward.

Left to cherish her memory, children, Christina Fleming of Sheridan, Chris Smith (Liz) of Little Rock, Jeremy Smith (Brandi) of Poyen, Ashlee Rushing (Colby) of Poyen; step-daughter, Angela Ward of Georgia; brother, Danny Walker of Kirby; sister, Joyce Hile (Mike) of Cabot; grandchildren, Austin Fleming (Kenda), Carly Fleming, Amberly Fleming (fiancé, Brandon Abshire), Macy Smith, Haley and Walker Smith, Karson, Kaden, Korbin, and Kenslee Rushing; great-grandchildren, Laken, Riley, Raelynn, Atlas, and Elliemae.

Visitation will be on Friday, December 13th from 9-10am at Regency Funeral Home Chapel, with the funeral service starting at 10 am, with Bro. Shawn Hill officiating. Burial to follow at Kirby Cemetery by Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church.

Pallbearers are Austin Fleming, Adam Thomas, Karson Rushing, Gabe Thomas, Jordan Hile, Luke Hile, Shawn Weiner, and Anthony Walker.
