Karissia Lynn Bennett Dawson, age 37, of Glen Rose passed away September 15, 2021.  She was born August 23, 1984 in Benton to David Bennett and Norecia McDade Hicks.  Karissia graduated from Glen Rose High School in 2002 and then from Henderson University. She was a Mental Health Therapist at Methodist Counseling Clinic in Hot Springs.  She attended Glen Rose Assembly of God Church. Karissia loved her dogs and her kid that she took care of.   She was preceded in death by her grandfathers, Norris McDade and Cletis Bennett and her nephew, Bob Keisler.

Survivors, mother, Norecia Hicks (Steven) of Glen Rose; father, David Bennett (Kathy) of Malvern; grandmothers, Freda McDade of Glen Rose and Wanda Bennett of Malvern; step brothers, Austin Hicks of Poyen, Josh Loy of Benton and Brad Loy of Bismarck. She is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

Visitation will be Sunday, September 19 from 5:00-7:00pm at Regency Funeral Home.

Service will be Monday, September 20 at 10:00am at Regency Funeral Home with Brother Kim Hammer officiating.  Burial will follow at Fairplay Cemetery.  Pallbearers will be Josh Loy, Austin Hicks, Gerald Bennett, Bo Bennett, Brad Loy and Danny Bennett.  Honorary pallbearers are Baptist Health ICU South and CVICU doctors, nurses and staff.
