Kevin Wayne
Rash
Feb 24, 1966 — May 18, 2024
Malvern
With hearts full of love and acceptance, we celebrate the life of Kevin Wayne Rash, who has entered the gates of Heaven with a humble heart and drumsticks in his back pocket. He passed away peacefully Saturday, May 18th, 2024, surrounded by his family and loved ones. Kevin was loved by so many, family, friends, and all those he knew. We are rejoicing in the knowledge that Kevin is no longer in pain but praising God in heaven alongside his parents and brother.
Kevin was preceded in death by his father, Cecil Rash, his mother, Joyce Rash, and his brother, Mark Rash. He is survived by his loving wife, Terah Rash, and his children: Justin Rash, Brittney Jobe (Daniel), and Kyle Rash (Brea). He is also survived by his siblings: Rhonda Parker (Ron), Tim Rash (Karen), Roddy Rash (Denise), Cheryl Ward (Roger), twin sister Karen Jane Robinson (Stan), and Jeff Rash (Dana). Kevin was a proud grandfather to Lily, Kinley, Kaleigh, Josiah, Jacob, and Rhett. Kevin also had a slew of nieces and nephews who adored him.
From a young age, he had a passion for playing the drums, which only grew as he got older. He found joy in singing karaoke with his siblings and family, and playing drums and singing with his band, whose members were like family to him. He entertained people all over Arkansas with his gift and passion for music.
He loved camping, being in the water, and spending time outdoors with friends and family. He enjoyed playing cornhole and horseshoes, including taking home the Cecil Rash Memorial Horseshoe trophy multiple times.
Pallbearers for the service include Bo Attaway, Kimball Davis, Randy Craylor, Daniel Jobe, Travis Baker, Josh Rash, Rusty Parker, Robert Spears, Kyle Rash, Tim Rash, Roddy Rash, Jeff Rash, Ron Parker, Roger Ward, Stan Robinson, and James Ward. Honorary pallbearers include Hunter Rash, Brian Michna, Coe Baker, Bill Fitzhugh, and Mike Baker.
Kevin's life will be celebrated at Regency Funeral Home in Malvern, AR. A viewing will be held on Thursday, May 23rd from 6-8pm, followed by a funeral service on Friday, May 24th at 1pm. The burial service will take place at Green Cemetery, 2700 Beaudry Circle, Jessieville, AR.
Kevin's warmth, talent, and love for life will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
