Larry Monroe Burks, age 77, of Malvern, AR, passed away on January 10, 2024, at CHI St. Vincents in Hot Springs, AR. Larry was born on February 13, 1946, in Delight, AR, the son of Clarence and Alma Ledbetter Burks. He retired from the Pine Bluff Arsenal and was of the Baptist faith. Larry was also a U.S. Navy Veteran and a Veteran of the Vietnam War. He was an avid hunter and enjoyed deer and turkey hunting, as well as fishing.

Larry is preceded in death by his parents, sisters, Mary Katherine Elliott, and Thelma Ray.

Left to cherish his memory, wife of 53 years, Charlotte Burks; son, Zachery (Brittany) Burks of Malvern; daughter, Gina Renee Fronte of Malvern; grandchildren, Tyler Burks (Jenna), Caitlin (Joshua) Stair, and Jordan (Jonathan) Keeling; great-grandchildren, Gavin Erwin, Aspen Erwin, Samuel Keeling, and Ryann Stair; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Friday, January 12th at 5pm at Regency Funeral Home, with the funeral service starting at 6pm with Bro. James Green officiating.

Burial will be at Caney Cemetery on Saturday, January 13th at 10 am.
