Lawrence Wehunt, 71, of Malvern passed away on Wednesday, January 26, 2022 at his home.  He was born September 7, 1950, in Malvern, the son of the late James Wesley and Cleo King Wehunt.  He graduated from Malvern High School in 1968.  Lawrence was a member of the Malvern Moose Lodge, Moose Legionnaires and Lane Camp Hunting Club.  He enjoyed hunting, fishing and bowling.  He was of the Assembly of God faith.  Other than his parents, he is preceded in death by his first wife, Janice Wehunt.

Survivors include his wife, Marqueta Wehunt; son, Ricky Wehunt of Malvern; daughters, Jill Battles (Fred) and Tonya Ray (Jeff) of Hot Springs Village; grandchildren, Austin Daniel, Destiny Loyd (Brad), Emmett Wehunt, Madisen Martin (Jarod), Gunner Collins (Sarah), Fisher Riley, Heaven Ray, Nicole Ray (Timmy), Caitlyn Ray and Josh Ray; 10 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Tuesday, February 1 from 6:00-8:00pm at Regency Funeral Home.

Services will be Wednesday, February 2 at 2:00pm at Regency Funeral Home with Brother Ian Kumpe officiating.  Burial will follow at Rockport Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Alvin Parker, Frank Crawford, Brandon Davidson, Mason Davidson, Jesse Smallwood, Fred Davidson, Doug Davidson, James Earl Burks and Steven Nix.  Honorary pallbearers will be the Malvern Moose Lodge members and Lane Camp Hunting Club members.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
