Leonard B. Hawkins, 90, of Malvern went to be with the Lord on Sunday, December 25, 2022.  He was born August 15, 1932, in Saint Ignace, Michigan, the son of the late Enoch and Lydia Beyer Hawkins.  Leonard served in the United States Navy. He attended Taylor's Chapel Missionary Baptist Church.  He enjoyed gardening, hunting and spending time with his kids and grandkids.  Other than his parents, he is preceded in death by his brothers, Richard Hawkins and Glenn Hawkins; sister, Louise Starling and children, Alice Pinkerton and Daniel Hawkins.

Left to cherish his memory, wife of 69 years, Margaret MacDonald Hawkins; children, Linda Harper (Ron) of Malvern, Jeffrey Hawkins (Joyce) of Quincy, FL, Cynthia Hemanes (Keith) of Quincy, FL, Paul Hawkins (Isabella) of Houston; sisters, Joanne Benttine of Iowa and Nina Olsen of Michigan; grandchildren and great-grandchildren, Jonathan Miller, Jeff Miller, Jimmy Hemanes, Vicky Lock, Adam Harper, Jeff Hawkins, Sophia Hawkins, Victoria Hawkins, Eli Dawson, Sydney Lock, Luke Harper, Chloe Miller and Ben Miller and numerous nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 7 at 10:00am at Taylor's Chapel Missionary Baptist Church with Brother Jerry Scroggins officiating.
