Leroy Williams, age 72, of Rockport, met some of his favorite people at Heaven's Pearly Gates on Father's Day, June 21, 2026.  He was born on December 31, 1953, in Malvern, AR, the son of Harvey Leroy and Lillie Jo Williams.

Leroy worked as a car dealer for most of his life, which he loved doing.  He started out as a wash boy for Wayne as a kid, until he bought his own lot in the 80's.  Leroy loved having fun and running around in fast cars with friends in his younger years.  He loved rodeoing most of his life, then moved on to loving golf.  He raised Longhorns then opened a golfcart business.  He was an excellent provider for his family, which was always his number one priority.

Leroy was the life of the party and was fun to be around.  If you liked him, you ended up loving him!  He was most definitely one of a kind.  He would always be the first to show up when one of his friends had a problem.

Leroy was of the Christian faith.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Harvey and Lillie Jo Williams; brother, Wayne Williams; and only son, Shannon Williams.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 50 years, Debbie Williams of Rockport; his daughter, Shea L. Blair (Rick) of Rockport; his grandson, Andrew Leroy Blair of Rockport; brother, Morris Williams (Linda) of Malvern; sister, Brenda Garrett of Malvern; his beloved dogs, Hank and Woodro as well as numerous nieces and nephews and a host of friends.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 25, from 6:00 – 8:00 PM, at Regency Funeral Home.

Special "Thanks" to Byron McCarver and Jace McCarver for keeping his yard and pasture looking just like he liked it!  Another special "Thanks" to Pam Bell for keeping him comfortable in his last days.
