Malvern
Linda Patrick Giffin, age 79, of Malvern, passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 19, 2026 in Alma, AR. She was born in Helena, AR to the late William W. "Bill May" and Mildred (Moon) Patrick. She was a faithful member of Second Baptist Church in Malvern. She spent many years as a medical technologist and director of the lab at Hot Spring County Medical Center. She enjoyed growing flowers and gardening. She was a very active member of the ESA Sorority of Malvern.
She will be fondly remembered for her kind and nurturing spirit. Her home was always filled with love and laughter and you could always find a house full of kids when her kids were young.
She is preceded in death by her parents; and husband of 51 years, John Thomas Giffin.
Survivors include her children, Amy Kehner (Robert) of Malvern, Angela Cole (Shannon) of Alma, and Brian Giffin of Pearland, Texas; special sister-in-law, Peggy House of Sherwood; grandchildren, Seth Cole, Nicholas Giffin, and Julia Giffin; niece, Melody Morris and nephew, Scott House.
Visitation will be Friday, April 24, from 5:00 – 7:00 PM at Regency Funeral Home.
Graveside services will be Saturday, April 25, at 3:00 PM at Pinecrest Memorial Park in Alexander with Bro. Terry Whitley officiating.
Pallbearers are Brian Giffin, Robert Kehner, Shannon Cole, Seth Cole, and Nicholas Giffin.
Honorary Pallbearers are Buddy and Mary King, David Selph, and Bob Banks.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to the following caregivers for the excellent care they provided the past few years: Jo Gifford, Kathy Langley, Rosemary McMahan, and the nurses and staff of Alma Nursing and Rehab in Alma, AR.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Second Baptist Church, 210 W. Mill, Malvern or Arkansas Children's Hospital, 1 Children's Way, Little Rock, AR 72202.
