Lonnie Lunsford, age 85, of Malvern passed away July 19, 2025 at his home. He was born February 16, 1940 in Rison, Arkansas the son of the late Henry Black Lunsford and Mattie Lula Mae Winston.  He enjoyed going fishing, camping, watching westerns, chewing tobacco and he was indeed a "regular" at the Waffle House and also enjoyed sweets, especially homemade vanilla ice cream. Lonnie worked for Stewart Building and Hardware for many years then went on to work as a foreman for Barton Lumber Company, where he retired.

In addition to his parents; Lonnie was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Evelena, with whom he shared 52 wonderful years of marriage; by his brothers, Adell, Billy, Troy, Charlie and Donnie Lunsford; sisters, Pauline Lunsford, Carolyn Leopard, and Maxine Ward.

He is survived by two sons, Ronnie Lunsford (Sheila) of Bryant and Bobby Joe Lunsford of Malvern; brothers, John, Larry, and Henry Lunsford; sisters, Dorothy Matkins and Martha Nickolson; grandchildren, William Moore, Dexter Lunsford (Jessica), Houston Lunsford and Dillon Lunsford; great-grandchildren, Tucker Lunsford, Beckham (BK) Lunsford, Makenzie Grace Moore and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Wednesday, July 23rd from 5-6pm followed by a celebration of life at 6pm, at Regency Funeral Home with Brother Kevin Hunt officiating.
