Louis Jay (Bud) Miller, age 84 of Magnet Cove passed away Friday September 19, 2025 at CHI-Hot Springs. He was born December 25, 1940 in Colville, Washington the son of Jay D. and Rena C. English Miller. He was a retired US Air Force veteran of the Vietnam War, had worked for Chamberlain Doors, and as an airplane mechanic for many years. He was of the Methodist faith. Bud loved to play golf and bowling but his greatest love were his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, along with his whole family.

He was preceded in death by his parents, sisters, Marilyn Friedman, Midge Heberling, and Jean M. Garrett.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 62 years, Charlene Ward Miller, son Rusty Miller (Melody) of Pittsburgh, PA., daughter Kim Pierce (Shaun) of Magnet Cove, grandchildren, Lacy Holley (Doug), Amanda Hopper (Derek), Sarra Kehner (Steven), Nikki Reis (Drew), great-grandchildren, Ryder, Everly, Piercen, Kellen, Charlie Jay, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be Wednesday September 24, 2025 at 1PM in the Regency Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Bobby Goodknight, and Rusty Miller officiating. Burial will follow in Clear Creek Cemetery with full military honors by US Air Force Honors Team.

Pallbearers are Shaun Pierce, Doug Holley, Doug Harper, Derek Hopper, Drew Reis, and Mitch Price. Honorary pallbearers are his old golfing buddies of Lakeside Country Club.
