Obituary

Lyndell Briney, age 83, of Hot Springs, passed away peacefully on Monday, January 19, 2026.  He was born February 24, 1942, to the late Clarence and Mary (Brown) Briney. He worked as a brick mason for many years and was a member of the International Union of Bricklayers. He also served in the United States Army.  He enjoyed gardening and hunting and was member of the Cooper Creek Hunting Club.

He is preceded in death by his parents and two sisters.

Survivors include his wife of 39 years, Wanda (Brumley) Briney; daughter, Lori O'Briant (David) of Benton; sisters in law, Debbie Headley (Lynn) and Hope Kersh-Lingenfelser (Marcus); grandchildren, Sutton O'Briant (Kayla), and Tatum McIntyre (Clark) Gabe O'Briant; great-grandchildren, Blaine, Weston, Roman, Hudson, Markie, and Scottie; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Graveside Service will be held Thursday, January 22, at Lono Cemetery, at 1:00 PM with Lynn Headley officiating.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Lono Cemetery Association or St. Jude Children's Hospital.
