Marcielle Buckholz, age 89, of Malvern, passed away peacefully at her home Wednesday, December 3, 2025. She was born May 2, 1936 in Malvern, Arkansas to the late Lecil and Edith Wallis Bailey. She worked at the State Health Department in the Home Health Division as an LPN for many years. She was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church. She loved to read, travel, and most of all loved spending time with her kids and grandkids.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Lecil and Edith Wallis Bailey; her husband, Frank Richard Buckholz Sr.; sons, Lecil "Lee" Buckholz and Russell Buckholz; and brothers, Nelson Bailey Sr., Lecil (Bug) Bailey Jr., and Richard Bailey.
She is survived by her sons; Frank "Rick" Buckholz Jr. (Tammy) of Greenfield, MO., Ronald Buckholz of Malvern, and Jerry Buckholz (Kristi) of Bismarck; eleven grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
The Rosary will be recited on Sunday, December 7 at 6:00pm at Regency Funeral Home.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 7 from 7:00 – 8:00pm at Regency Funeral Home.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, December 8 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Malvern with Father Mark Wood officiating.
Burial will be at Rockport Cemetery.
Pallbearers are Jeremy Buckholz, Scott Buckholz, Josh Buckholz, Jarod Cowling, Kris Buckholz, and Garrett Buckholz.
Honorary pallbearers are Dr. Shawn Purifoy and the staff of Elite Hospice.
