Mary Ann Horn (Dunn) 72 of Benton, Arkansas passed away November 5, 2024 in Sheridan Arkansas. She was born on May 10, 1952 in McGehee, Arkansas to Tommy and Mary Ellen Dunn. As the oldest of five children, she took her role as big sister to heart.  For as long as they can remember she was a second mother to each of her three brothers and two sisters. She married Kenny Wayne Horn of McGehee, Arkansas on August 11, 1972. Kenny's career with JA Riggs Tractor Company took them to Little Rock, Arkansas and then to Texarkana, Arkansas in 1979. Ann began working as the bookkeeper at Rose Care Medical Facility. Eventually, the couple moved back to Benton, Arkansas and she also began working at JA Riggs Tractor Company. Eventually, she and Kenny both retired from Riggs in 2007.

Kenny and Ann started their family while living in Bryant.  Kenny Wayne Horn II was born on February 17,1975.  They completed their family when Denisha Ann Horn was born September 28, 1979. Kenny and Denisha were the center of their mother's world.  She was their biggest fan and was always there to support whatever they were involved in.  From baseball to basketball games, she was always in attendance if one of her kids was participating.  Her love of sports continued and she was present whenever her health allowed her to attend her grandchildren's events.  Not only was Ann a sports fan, but she loved hosting family and friends.  She and Kenny were known for their fish fries and hamburger cookouts.  There was always great food and even better company.

Mary Ann was preceded in death by her parents Tommy and Mary Dunn, brother George Dunn, and son in law Daniel Edwards. She is survived by her husband of 52 years Kenny Wayne Horn, one daughter Denisha Edwards and her son Kenny (Amie) Horn II, brothers Phil (Nancy) Dunn and Ronnie (Michelle) Dunn of Dumas, Ark. and sisters Karen (George) CIngolani of McGehee, Ark and Frances (Douglas) Harkey of Mt. Pleasant, North Carolina.  Ann also leaves behind 4 grandchildren: Emma Horn and Beau Edwards of Poyen and Ryan and Rylee Horn of Bryant and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be on Thursday, November 7th from 9-10am at Regency Funeral Home, with the funeral service starting at 10am.
