Mary King Boshears, 88, of Malvern passed away on Saturday, September 17, 2022 at her home.  She was born December 15, 1933, in Glen Rose, the daughter of the late Kiah and Chester Denham King.  Mary graduated from Glen Rose High School in 1951 and later graduated from Capital City Business College. Mary worked as a secretary for Farm Bureau, First Federal Savings and Loan and Malvern Water Works.  She was a member of Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church, where she played the organ for 36 years.  Mary enjoyed playing the piano and the organ.  Other than her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Virgile Boshears; brothers, Freeman King and Cornice King and brother-in-law, Vance Almond.

Survivors, son, Tony Caver of Malvern; daughters, Susan Parish (Larry) of Donaldson and Lori York of Hot Springs; brother, Gary King of Palmdale, California; sister, Eleanor Almond of Malvern; grandchildren, Tony Kiah Caver, Jesse Caver, Josh Parish, Jake Parish, Casey Ollar, Tyler York (Allie) and Riley York; great grandchildren, Kylie, Lendon and due in February, baby girl York; sisters-in-law, Jan King and Cynthia King and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Services will be held Wednesday, September 21 at 2:00pm at Regency Funeral Home with Brother Donis Smead officiating.  Visitation will begin one hour prior to service.  Burial will follow at Fairplay Cemetery.  Pallbearers will be Josh Parish, Jake Parish, Tyler York, Riley York, Jesse Caver and Casey Ollar.

The family would like to give a special thanks to Dr. Ray Bollen, Hospice Home Care and her caregivers for their loving care, Melody, Christy, Sharon and Brenda.
