Mary Ann Henshaw, age 88, of Donaldson, passed away on Sunday, August 18, 2024. She was born on October 21, 1935, In Santa Barbara, CA, the daughter of Ollie and Loretta McGough Rhodes. Mary graduated from Banning High School, in Wilmington, CA, in 1953. In 1954 she met the love of her life, Marvin D. Henshaw, and married in April of 1955. She worked various jobs through her life some including phone operator for Pacific Telephone for many years than went on to PBX operator at Kaiser Hospital in Harbor City, CA. Mary loved to make beautiful quilts for her family, she especially loved making them for family members who were expecting and were looking forward to receiving their handmade quilt at their baby showers. Mary took the most joy in helping her friend Pat Bond make Braille Bibles for the blind.

Mary is preceded in death by her parents.

Left to cherish her memory, loving husband of 69 years, Marvin Henshaw; daughter Gail Borland of Donaldson; grandchildren, Steven Thomas of Moorpark, CA, Kimberly Milius of Los Alamitos, CA; and 4 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be on Friday, August 23rd from 6-8pm at Regency Funeral Home Chapel.

Graveside services will be on Saturday, August 24th, at 12 pm at Prairie Bayou Cemetery, with Bro Alan Cansler officiating.
