Mattie "Pat" Perkins, age 66, of Malvern passed away on Tuesday, August 31, 2021.  She was born November 17, 1954, in Alto, Texas, the daughter of the late Lewis Calvin and Velma Williams Johns.  Mattie worked in home health and loved going to concerts.  Other than her parents, she is preceded in death by her sister, Georgia Reaggie and brother, George Williams.

Survivors, husband, whom she married on July 13, 1989, Melvin Perkins; daughters, Latonya Williams of Malvern, Yevette Perkins of Atlanta, Georgia, Schcora Collins of Oklahoma and Regina Haymon of Malvern; brother, Harvey Wainwright; sisters, Judy Jackson, Ruby Johnson and Thelma Thompson; special friend, Debra Barnes of Crossett; grandchildren, Jonathan Newton, Raymon Broghton, a host of other grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

A memorial service will be held Tuesday, September 7 at 1:00pm at Regency Funeral Home.
