Melvin Leroy Swain, age 84, of Malvern, passed away Thursday, June 11, 2026.  He was born August 24, 1941, to the late James Roy and Nina (Beason) Swain.  He worked for Whirlpool of 30 years.  He enjoyed fishing and treasured time spent with his grandkids and great-grandkids.

He is preceded in death by his parents; son, Ralph Swain; daughter Lisa (David) Anderson, daughter-in-law, Karen Swain, and brother, James Swain.

Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Anna (Johnson) Swain; daughter, Melinda Baker (Kevin) of Rockport; sons, Randall Swain of Cabot and Ronnie Swain of Stillwell, OK; brother, Carroll Swain of Branch, AR; sister Barbara Ratterree of Charleston, AR; nine grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, June 27, at 2:00 PM, at Lowes Creek Cemetery in Cecil, AR.
