Michael David Tinker Clemons went to his heavenly home on July 13, 2026.

Michael was born in Lawton, Oklahoma, to Mother Emma Maddox and Father Louis Tinker, and was raised by his mother and adopted father, William Clemons. Michael grew up between Lawton and Cache, Oklahoma where he gained a love for the outdoors at the wildlife refuge. After graduating from Cache High School, Michael went to East Texas Baptist University. He later joined the US Army. After the Army, he had many occupations. Michael was a preacher. He may not have had a church, but he would spread his love for God's word to anyone who would listen; often in waiting rooms or Walmart. He was also a welder, carpenter, salesperson, well-driller, and radio DJ. He loved music of all kinds and yes, "He played that funky music" till the end. Michael was also a painter of both houses and beautiful landscapes, and an avid gardener. He loved watching the flowers bloom. The roles he cherished most were husband, father, and grandfather. He loved his family dearly.

Michael is survived by his wife Cathy, his children, Adam, Rachael, and Sarah; five grandchildren, Zakary, Liliana, Kylie, William, and Amara. He is also survived by his mother Emma Clemons, sisters Miriam, Mary, and Katy; as well as many loving relatives and dear friends. He was preceded in death by his son, Paul, father, Louis Tinker, and his dad, William Clemons.

Many friends have a Michael story to share, if you would like to share one or just listen, a celebration of his life will be held at Cooper Assembly of God in Malvern, AR after a brief service on Saturday July 25th, 2026 at 11am.
