Michael C. "Mickey" Earnest age 68, of Prattsville, passed away Saturday, June 7, 2025 at his home. He was born June 22, 1956 in Little Rock, AR to Ray Barnett and Addie Mae Buie Earnest. He was raised in Prattsville, AR on "Buie Loop". He was of the Christian faith. Mickey married Karen Sue Cupit on June 1, 1978 and just celebrated their 47th wedding anniversary. He was a hard-working husband, father, and PawPaw. Mickey retired on July 1, 2021 after working for 42 years, as a field rep for Forterra, formerly known as Choctaw. He loved spending time with his children and grandchildren, hunting and fishing, and riding his motorcycle.

Mickey is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Junior Earnest, Allen Earnest, and Buddy Earnest; brother in-law, Arnold Baker; sister in-law, Wanda Hardin Earnest; nephews, Daniel Earnest, Gene Bailey and Kyle Ray; and niece, Ivy Neal.

Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 47 years, Karen Earnest; sons, Mickey L. Earnest (Marie) and Rickey L. Earnest (Kami Valance); daughter, Rachel Earnest Cruz (Armando); his grandchildren that were the light of his life; Victoria "Tori" Negron "Toh-Doh", Saphira Earnest " Gracie Girl", Alyvia Cruz "Rosebud", Rylie Cruz "Buttercup", and namesake Memphis Michael Cruz "Pawpaw's little buddy" ; brothers, Gene Earnest (Louise) and Marion Earnest (Sandy); sisters, Louise Baker and Mary Cupit (Kenneth); and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 11th from 6-8pm at Regency Funeral Home.

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, June 12th, at 10am at Regency Funeral Home, with Bro. Don Goodman officiating. Burial to follow at Philadelphia Cemetery in Prattsville, AR.

Pallbearers are Mickey Earnest, Rickey Earnest, Armando Cruz, William Cupit, Dean Baker, Timothy Bailey, Kenneth Cupit and Steven Earnest.
