Michael Torchia, age 31, went to be with the Lord September 28, 2026.

Michael was born on May 22, 1995, in Cheyenne WY, to Linden and Diane Torchia. He graduated Grovetown High School, and attended college working towards a degree in Nutrition. His education was interrupted by Covid when he started working.

As a military dependent he had the wonderful opportunity to live and grow up in several states around the country during his childhood. He was adventurous and took full advantage of the opportunities at each base. His favorite state was Hawaii where he enjoyed family time at the beach, perfect scenery, exploring, and the warm weather nearly year-round.

Michael grew a passion for gardening, cooking, learning new languages (especially Italian), and gym time. He was a body builder for about 3 years. As an animal lover, he enjoyed taking care of his chickens, ducks, and his six beloved dogs. He loved watching them grow, spending time with them, and nurturing them all. He was an avid bible reader and with his keen memory could quote many scripture verses. Michael will always be remembered as a son, a brother, a friend, and a person who lived life passionately with Jesus in his heart. He will always be greatly loved and missed.

Michael is survived by his father Linden Torchia and his mother Diane Johnson, his two sisters, Hillary Fleiss and Kelsey Fowler.

Memorial Service will be held 2:00 pm – 3:00 pm, October 09, 2026 at the Regency Funeral Home, 1839 Pine Bluff St, Malvern Arkansas, 72104. Visitation will begin at 1:00 pm, prior to the service.
