Obituary

Nita Fay Chadwick, 66, of Malvern, Arkansas, went home to be with her Lord and savior on Saturday, July 12, 2025, at her home, surrounded by her family. Nita was the daughter of Dorothy Hilburn Bolliera of Malvern, Arkansas, and was preceded in death by her father, Fay Hilburn and stepfather, Edwin Bolliera as well as several special aunts and uncles.

Nita graduated from Malven High School, class of 1976, and later graduated from Henderson State University with a Bachelor's in Physical Education and Master's in Counseling. Nita spent over thirty years as a beloved teacher in the Malvern School District. She proudly served as the head boys' and girls' golf coach, a role she cherished deeply. She was also a member of First United Methodist Church in Malvern. In her younger years she enjoyed playing softball, bowling, and spending summer days at Park Hill Swimming Pool. Later in life, she discovered a love for golf, a passion she shared with her daughter Jenna, and together they traveled the state playing the game they loved. Nita was a proud rodeo mom who cheered on her son Riley, and deeply treasured the rodeo family that became part of her life during those years. More than anything, Nita adored her children and grandchildren and never missed a game, school function, or even a surgery. In recent years, Nita found peace and joy at her happy place, the Ouachita River, surrounded by her husband, family, and friends.

She is survived by her husband of forty years, Steve Chadwick; her son, Riley Chadwick (Megan); her daughter, Jenna McKiddy (Jeremy); her mother, Dorothy Bolliera; and her sister, Kristi Purifoy. The absolute joys of her life were her grandchildren; Addie McDade, Adler Chadwick, Atley Chadwick, Cooper McKiddy, and Coy McKiddy. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews: Grace Pierce (Cole), Kane Purifoy, Macy Purifoy, and Schantz Flores (Sara), all of Malvern, AR.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 15th from 6-8pm at the Regency Funeral Home Chapel.
