Norman Wayne Meeks, age 90, of Malvern, passed away Saturday, January 10, 2026.  He was born January 24, 1935 in Hattieville, Arkansas, to Thurel and Barbara May (Oaf) Meeks.  He was an automotive mechanic by trade.  He was an Elder at First United Pentecostal Church. Anyone that knew him knew he absolutely loved to fish.

He is preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Faye Meeks to whom he was married for 63 wonderful years; granddaughter, Tabitha McKeon; an infant sister; and brother, Robert Meeks.

Survivors include his sons, Earl Meeks (Susan Hughes) of Malvern and Rickey Meeks (Debbie) of Malvern; daughter, Norma Jones (Mike) of Bauxite; grandchildren, Michial and Scott Jones, TJ Meeks (Chelsi), Chance Meeks (Megan), Jade Tidwell (T.J.), and Blake Hughes (Crystal); great-grandchildren, Dallas and Charlie McKeon, Kanin Meeks, Amie Meeks, Dax Tidwell, Lakoda Meeks, Addison Tidwell, Travin Tidwell, and Brayleigh Hughes; numerous nieces and nephews; and special friend and fishing buddy, Joe Coble.

Funeral Services will be Saturday, January 17, beginning at 11:00 AM at Regency Funeral Home with visitation starting at 10:00 AM prior to service.  Rev. Brady Gardener will be officiating.

Burial will follow at Shadowlawn Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be T.J. Meeks, Chance Meeks, Blake Hughes, T.J. Tidwell, Jim Burns, and Traven Tidwell.

Honorary Pallbearer will be Joe Cobel.
