Obituary

Novella Arlene Freeman Holder, age 78 of Malvern passed away Friday October 21, 2022, at her home surrounded by her family. She was born in Wister, OK the daughter of the late Herbert Ervin and Etna Evans Freeman. Novella was Co-founder, operator, and secretary of City Termite and Pest Control with her husband David for thirty plus years both retiring in 2007. She was a member of the Francois Missionary Baptist Church, where she had taught Sunday School. Novella loved camping, music, reading, photography and was very artistic but her greatest love was her children and grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Lester, Donald, Eldon, and Cletus Freeman, sisters, Connie Sullivan, and Charlene Freeman.

Survivors are her husband of 59 plus years David A. Holder, Sons, Robert G. Holder (Lisa) of Bismarck, Christopher Holder (Sheryl) of Magnet Cove, daughter, LeAnne R. Jackson of Malvern, Step-children, Johnny Simpson (Liz) of California, and David Simpson of Nevada, Sister, Clois Coots of Malvern, grandchildren, Tanner Holder (Mary), Jacob Holder (Jordan) Taylor McCormick (Josh), LaResa Gale, Leah Holder (Butch), Chance Swayze (Tessa), Lane Jackson, Cheyenne Wilson, Max Simpson, and Logan Davis, Great-grandchildren Kaylie Canterbury, Maddison Lunsford, Jaxen Lunsford, Conner Holder, Megan Holder, Kameron Gale, Emmerson Keisler, Aideen Sanchez, Archer Sanchez, Daniel McCormick, Samuel McCormick, Annabelle Holder, Brookelynn Holder, Natalie Holder, Cora Russell. Lil Harper Swayze and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Monday, October 24, from 6pm till 8pm at Regency.

Funeral will be Tuesday, October 25, at 10am in Regency Funeral Home Chapel with Brother W.A. Dillard officiating. Burial will follow in Francois Cemetery.

Pallbearers are Tanner Holder, Jacob Holder, Chance Swayze, Lane Jackson, Josh McCormick, Butch Ward, and Jimmy Freeman. Honorary pallbearers are Jake Mashburn, and Randy Smart.
