Olivia (Lib) Pierce, age 85, of Malvern, passed away Saturday, June 27, at Encore Nursing and Rehab. She was born August 22, 1940, in Malvern, to the late Oliver and Ann (Beauchamp) Lancaster. She was a member of the Malvern High School Class of 1957. She was a retired school teacher having taught at Malvern High School and Glen Rose High School. She was a member of the HSC Library Board and served on the Rockport City Council. Her past time was spent doing things she loved which included drawing, painting, gardening, taking care of her flowers, cooking, and most of all, spending time with her grand and great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her father, Oliver Lancaster; mother, Ann Lancaster Grissom; step-dad, Charles Grissom; and her husband, Bill Pierce.
Left to cherish her memory are her sons, Rick Pierce (Sharon) of Clarksville, Shaun Pierce (Kim) of Magnet Cove, and Blake Pierce (Martha) of Hot Springs; grandchildren, Lacy J. Holley, Sarra Kehner (Steven), Cole Pierce (Grace), Ashley Campbell (Sean), Hunter Ballard, and Mattie Pierce; great-grandchildren, Ryder Reed, Everly Holley, Piercen Holley, and Kellen J. Kehner; and numerous other extended family.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 30, from 6:00- 8:00 PM at Regency Funeral Home.
Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, July 1, at 10:00 AM at Regency Funeral Home with Bro. Jeff Ladd officiating. Burial will follow at Rockport Cemetery.
Pallbearers are Cody Hughes, Randy Cox, Doug Holley, David Cox, Steven Kehner, Mike Hughes, John Wright, and Blake Wingo.
Honorary Pallbearers are Ryder Reed, Piercen Holley, and Kellen J. Kehner.
The family wishes to extend a special "Thank You" to the staff at Encore Nursing and Rehab for the exceptional care of Lib.
Memorial may be made to the HSC Library.
