Pamela Jane Edwards, age 73, of Poyen, passed away Thursday, June 25, 2026 at Encore Nursing and Rehab.  She was born May 20, 1953, in Malvern to the late James and Louise (Crenshaw) Griggs.  She worked for many years as a medical transcriptionist for HSC Medical Center and also was the owner and operator of Jan's Florist.  She attended Poyen Missionary Baptist Church.  She enjoyed painting, spending time with her grandkids, and making beautiful cakes for her family's special events such as weddings and birthdays.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Gerald Edwards; and her brother, Allan Griggs.

Survivors include her son, Brandon Edwards (Christina) of Poyen; daughter, Tisha Edwards of Poyen, grandchildren, Mason Edwards, Harper Edwards, and Kaden Edwards; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Monday, June 29, from 6:00 – 8:00 PM at Regency Funeral Home.

Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, June 30, at 10:00 AM, at Regency Funeral Home with Bro. James Green officiating.  Burial will be at Lindsey-Poyen Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Wayne Root,  John Crenshaw, Chris Efird, Kirk Crenshaw, Jeff Miller, and Kaylan Miller.

Honorary Pallbearers are Gary Griggs and Timothy Miller.
