Patty Jean Watson, 80, of Leola passed away on Thursday, June 22, 2023 at her home.  She was born December 25, 1942, in Depew, Oklahoma the daughter of the late Leslie Frank and Nellie Mae Wilcher Hamon.  Patty and her husband were foster parents for many years.  The were gospel singers and traveled around Kings Egypt, Russia Barbados, and Israel.  Other than her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Billy Bob Franklin Watson; stepson, William Robert Watson; grandson, Michael Watson.

Survivors, stepson, Sidney Evan Watson; brothers, Leslie Dean Hamon, Marion Dale Hamon and Burlyn Ray Hamon; sisters, M. Louise Brugger and Kathryn Naomi Cottrell; granddaughters, Nicei, Danielle and April, and several great grandchildren and nieces and nephews in the Malvern area.
