Reverend Paul Grigsby age 79, of Malvern passed away Thursday April 17, 2025 at his home.
He was born May 25, 1945 the son of Horace Dean and Mary Kathleen Yates Grigsby. He worked for Alcoa for 12 years before surrendering to the ministry for which he evangelized and pastored Assembly of God churches for many years until his health would not allow him to. Paul loved the outdoors, going camping, hunting, riding his four-wheeler, or playing music, especially the guitar, and singing.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors are his wife of fifty-nine years, Elaine Currington Grigsby, brothers Ron Grigsby (Pam), and Don Grigsby (Nanette) all of Malvern, one special niece, Charlotte Purifoy (Doug) of Sherwood, and numerous other nieces and nephews, along with a host of many friends.
Visitation will be Monday April 21, 2025 from 6PM until 8PM at Regency Funeral Home.
Funeral Services will be Tuesday April 22, at 10AM in the Regency Chapel with Reverends Roger Wall, Leonard Hodges, and Jonas Goodman officiating. Burial will follow in Lone Hill Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Tom Herron, Danny Boles,David Hohrine, Tommy Wright, George Jennings, and Marcus Shipp.
The family would like to give special thanks to all that helped with, prayed for, food and visits, during this time caring for Paul.
