Paul Thresher, age 82, of the Antioch Community, passed away peacefully at his home on September 15, 2026, surrounded by his family. He was born January 13, 1944, in Mountain Pine, Arkansas to the late D.H. and Eva (Davis) Thresher. He was a maintenance electrician at Chamber Door for many years. He was a member of the Army National Guard. He married the love of his life, Phyliss Pilcher, in January 1975.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Phyliss; daughters, Misty Helm (Adam) of Antioch, and Ginger Holmes (T.J.) of Magnet Cove; grandkids, Damon Tankersley and Jenna Holmes; great-granddaughter, Ellie Tankersley; and special grand-dog, Abby.

A private service will be held at a later date.

The family would like to extend a special “thank you” to Dr. Shawn Purifoy, Gentiva Hospice, and Carlee Paul, RN for the exceptional care they provided to Paul in his final days.
