Obituary

Paula Jane Clements, age 71, passed away on Sunday, March 20, 2022 surrounded by her loved ones.  Paula was born June 8, 1950, in Malvern, to Paul and Bettye McClinton Jordan.  Paula was a teacher.  She taught school at Poyen for many years.  She enjoyed teaching Children's Church at her long time church home, Butterfield Missionary Baptist Church.  After retiring from teaching, Paula, devoted her time to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  Paula was loved and respected by so many.  Her family mourns the loss of her, but rejoices that she is in Heaven now and we will see her again someday.  "Her children arise and call her blessed, her husband also and he praises her" Proverbs 31:28.  Other than her parents, Paula was preceded in death by her great-grandson, Jax Clements.

Paula is survived by her spouse of 52 years, William "Bill" Clements; three sons, Jason Clements (Misty), Jeremy Clements (Amy) and Jonathan Clements (Carla); ten grandchildren, Alicia Hughes (Cody), Tucker Clements (Erin), Deven Clements (Mary), Tanner Clements, Taylor Clements, Anne-Jillian Clements, Rhett Caldwell, Braden Zellner, Jake Caldwell and Brooklyn Zellner; six great-grandchildren, Cannon Hughes, Beckham Clements, Ellie Clements, Lakeley Hughes, Genevieve Clements and Declan Clements and her two sisters, Bonnie Joe Keys of Wisconsin and Jennifer Dobbs (Steve) of Russellville and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visitation will be Friday, March 25 from 6:00-8:00pm at Regency Funeral Home.

Services will be Saturday, April 2 at 10:00am at Butterfield Missionary Baptist Church with Brother Jeff Krissell, Brother Bobby Goodknight and Brother Doug Clements officiating.  Burial will follow at Resthaven Memorial Gardens.  Pallbearers will be her grandsons, Cody Hughes, Tucker Clements, Deven Clements, Tanner Clement, Rhett Caldwell, Braden Zellner and Jake Caldwell.  Honorary pallbearers will be the Senior Adult Sunday School Class.

Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or Butterfield Missionary Baptist Church.

The family would like to give a special thanks to her caregivers, Alicia and Jennifer, for their loving care.
