Cecil "Pearl" Jones, 82, of Donaldson passed away on Saturday, October 29, 2022.  She was born on March 10, 1940 in Gallup, New Mexico to Cecil Sam Graham and Ruby Pearl Graham who preceded her in death.  She was also predeceased by her sons-in-law, Ernesto Aguilar (Linda Madrid) and Tony Burnett (Sherry Burnett) and granddaughter, Angelica Silva.

Pearl is survived by her husband, Kenneth Jones, daughters, Linda Madrid, Debbie Dukes (Michael), Sherry Burnett, Natalie Porter (James) and Karen Wheatley, and sons, Richard Blocker (Terri) and Kenneth Tatman, and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren and a great-great grandchild.

Pearl and her husband, Rusty, enjoyed an active life filled with fun. Their 52 years of marriage were filled with lots of love, many nights of country-western dancing, playing with their dog, Roxie, and traveling across the Midwest.  Early in her adult life, she worked underground as an air quality inspector in the uranium mines in Grants, New Mexico.  She also worked in the gold mines in Nevada.  She moved to Malvern, Arkansas, in 2006.  After she and her husband, Kenneth, moved here, Pearl began working at the law office of Sherry Burnett as an assistant.  So many people remember Pearl walking back and forth to the courthouse to file things multiple times a day.  She was a hard worker and continued cleaning the law office until just recently.  She also continued to dance right up until her final days. She will be greatly missed.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, November 3 at 6:00pm at Regency Funeral Home.  Visitation will be held after the service.
