Penny Hairston, age 70, of Malvern, passed away on March 27, 2024, at her home. She was born on Jan. 28, 1954, in Osceola, AR, the daughter of James and Juerlean Atchley Hawks. Penny was the secretary of ARC-Winco Glass Shop in Malvern and was very successful at raising her family.

Penny is preceded in death by her parents, James and Juerlean Hawks; husband, Winston Hairston; son, Jerry Brown; siblings, Shelia Smith, Jimmy Hawks, Patricia Jones, Teddy Hawks, and Billy Hawks.

Left to cherish her memory, son, Billy Brown (Angela) of Benton; daughters, Jennifer Hearnsberger of Malvern, and Patty Freeman (Jamie) of Malvern; grandchildren, Alyssa Ramsey, Bonnie Ray (Austin), Tyler Draper, Alisa Roberts (Nick), Morgan Freeman, Marisa Snider (Caleb), Landon Freeman, Destiny Bell, Billy Brown, Chanler Brown, Savana Brown, Samantha Efird (Logan), and Bradley Cooper; many great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be on Saturday March 30th from 11:30 – 1pm at Regency Funeral Home with the funeral service starting at 1pm, with Bro. Noel Morehead officiating. Burial to follow at Pleasant Hill Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Jessy, Lucas, Tyler, Billy, Chanler, Bradley and Landon.

Memorials may be made to the Malvern Animal Shelter.
