Phillip Ray, 63, of Gifford passed away on Tuesday, February 7, 2023 at Saline Memorial Hospital.  He was born October 10,1959, in Malvern, the son of the late Jonathan William and Carolyn Jane Buie Ray.  He was a 1978 graduate of Glen Rose High School. Phillip worked for 40 years at Arauco as a press operator.  He was a member of the Arkansas Adventure Seekers.  He enjoyed hunting, fishing, riding side by sides, and loved his grandkids.  Other than his parents, he is preceded in death by his in-laws, Wayne and Linda Hutchison.

Survivors, wife, whom he married on April 27, 1984, Trena Ray; son, Dylan Ray (Holly) of Traskwood; sisters, Judy Ray of Missouri and Jill Earnest of Gifford; grandchildren, Isabella, Keston, Sawyer and Colt Ray and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Thursday, February 9 from 6:00-8:00pm at Regency Funeral Home.

Services will be Friday, February 10 at 10:00am at Regency Funeral Home with Brother Todd Bray officiating.  Burial will follow at Francois Cemetery.  Pallbearers will be Jeff Porter, Danny Green, Scottie Clift, Mark Wheatley, Justin Manning and David Harris.
