Preston (Stick) Bowen, age 89, of Rockport passed away Saturday November 13, 2021 at his home. He was born in Meeker, Oklahoma the son of Henry Edgar and Sylvia Gladys Turner Bowen. He was in the National Guard and then served in the US Army and worked many years for the City of Rockport. Preston had attended the Cooper Assembly of God Church, was a member of the B&B Hunting Club, and loved to be outdoors whether fishing in the Ouachita River, hunting, or with family camping.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, David and Henry Dewayne Bowen; infant, Jesse Bowen and sister, Zella Felty.

Survivors are his sons, Kenneth Bowen (Renee) of Exeter, CA and James (Jimbo) Bowen of Hot Springs; daughters, Teresa Bowen of Rockport, Sandra Bowen of Springdale and Candy Bowen of California; mother of his children, Eloise Bowen of Malvern; sisters, Joyce Wetherington (Carrol) and Lucille Morrison all of Malvern; grandchildren, Missy Martin (Tim), Jeremiah Johnson, Kacey Bierau, Junior Weimer, Nicole Bowen, Katelyn Bowen, Zack and Kevin Williams, Brandi Hanson, Joshua Garner and Amber Head; twenty-four great grandchildren, four great-great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorial service and visitation will be Tuesday, November 16 beginning at 6:00pm in the Regency Funeral Home Chapel with his granddaughter Brandi Hanson officiating.

Honorary pallbearers are members of the B&B Hunting Club.
